About Us
Bury FC Community Trust is the charity arm of the football club. We aim to improve the health, social esteem, and skills of Children and Adults across the borough of Bury through the power of sport.
We work in four different themes -
Health Inclusion Sports Participation Education.
Paul Weller - General Manager. Paul is in charge of the community trust and leads all strategic elements of the organisation. Paul is responsible for all Community activities and Youth development.
Community
We have 4 fulltime members of Staff who we would like to introduce you to.
Mike Morris - Community Manager & Education Development Officer. Mike's roles is to further educational opportunities for the community of Bury and football clubs in raising standards through Coach Education. For more information please see the education page.
Joanne Shepherd - Health Development Officer. Jo's role is to address health issues and inequalities across the borough of Bury. For more information please see the health page.
Toni Connolly - Sports Development Officer. Toni's role is to increase the level of Sports Participation throughout the Bury region. For more information please see the sports participation page.
Rob Carlisle - Inclusion Development Officer. Rob's role is to create and further opportunities for all members of the community, irrelevant of age, race, gender or disability. For more information please see the inclusion page.

Youth Department
We have 4 fulltime members of Staff who we would like to introduce you to.
Richard Barker - Head of Youth. Richie's role is to oversee the running of the whole youth department as well as the day to day management of the youth team.
Alan Moore - Centre of Excellence Manager. Alan is responsible for all the age groups below the youth team. Alan oversees all the age groups from under 8's - under 16's.
Skills Coach - Soon to be appointed.
Sharron Unsworth - Community Trust Administrator. Sharrons role is to organise all admin duties within the trust.
